On May 24th, 2022 Jackie Cazares was tragically killed at Robb Elementary. Jackie always held a deep passion for animals, and her desire to help them led her to dream of becoming a veterinarian. Jackie found solace and joy in the presence of animals, their innocence and unconditional love captivating her heart. Jackie's dream was fueled by her belief that every animal deserves the same love and care as any other living being. We are determined to honor Jackie and keep her dream alive by raising money for veterinary scholarships and humane societies.
Luv Ya Uvalde
Luv Ya Uvalde is a remarkable non-profit organization dedicated to bringing smiles, warmth, and full bellies to the Uvalde community. With a mission of providing free Thanksgiving dinners to those in need, the organization has become a beacon of hope and unity during the holiday season. Founded years ago, Jackie was born into this incredible initiative and has grown up witnessing the profound impact it has on countless families. As she matured, her involvement evolved, and she eagerly embraced more significant responsibilities as she took charge of the popular dessert station. Jackie's loving hands have become an integral part of the Luv Ya Uvalde experience, spreading love and gratitude, one slice of pie at a time.
Jackie’s Canine Carnival
Jackie's Canine Carnival is an eagerly anticipated annual fundraiser, held with the noble goal of supporting aspiring veterinarians and assisting humane societies. This remarkable event serves as a beacon of hope, offering scholarships to budding veterinarians who aspire to make a positive impact in the animal healthcare field. Additionally, the funds raised are dedicated to providing much-needed supplies and services to humane societies, encompassing crucial endeavors such as vaccinations, adoption events, and veterinary visits. Through the Canine Carnival's unwavering commitment, countless lives are positively impacted, ensuring the well-being of animals while nurturing the dreams of future veterinarians.
Jackie Rocks!
For Jackie's 8th birthday, her sister decided to surprise her in a unique way. Each day leading up to the big day, her sister meticulously painted rocks and secretly hid them in Jackie's room. The anticipation grew with each new discovery, as Jackie was overjoyed to find beautifully painted rocks scattered throughout her room. This gesture sparked a newfound love for painting rocks within Jackie. Since then, she has embraced this creative activity as a way to bond with her family. Gathering together, they spend endless hours painting rocks, letting their imaginations soar as they transform ordinary stones into vibrant works of art. This shared hobby has not only brought them closer but has also filled their lives with joy, creativity, and treasured memories.
